Help us keep our beautiful county clean!
Sign up your group of four or more people at one of the pick-up centers listed below and you could win cash for picking up trash. The contest will run from April 13-27, 2019, in conjunction with the state wide litter sweep. The prizes are $1,000 for the most bags of recyclables and $500 for the most bags of non-recyclable trash. Trash bags, safety vest, gloves and Trash Pick-up in Progress signs will be supplied.
Beginning on April 7, 2019 group leaders can visit one of the four pick-up centers to sign up for the contest and pick up NCDOT orange/blue trash bags, safety vest, gloves and Trash Pick-up in Progress signs. Supplies are limited, so each group can have 2 Trash-Pickup in Progress Signs, 1 pair of gloves per group member (up to 6 pairs per group), 1 safety vest per group member (up to 6 vests per group), and 10 trash bags per group member (up to 60 per group).
