Participants Wanted for the 2nd Annual WNC Fermenting Festival

The WNC Fermenting festival was incredibly well attended last year. The organizers brought together 27 various vendors and 8 demo instructors. Between 700-1000 folks attended. Five vendors sold out completely, and several more came very close.

Last year, $700 was raised for the Beacon of Hope Services Food Bank. The goal for this year is $2000, and we can easily achieve this. For this year’s event, look for expanded advertising efforts, more free demos, and more items in the Raffle. All funds raised during the event through the raffle, donations, and surplus operating costs will be donated to the Beacon of Hope Food Bank.

2nd Annual WNC Fermenting Festival

Held at the NC Co-Operative Extension Office, 258 Carolina Ln., Marshall, NC 28753

Saturday, November 3rd from 12 noon until 6 pm
Unloading and set-up begins at 10am

Booth Fee: $40 per full 10 x 10 booth space. Payable in Cash, Square, or Check (made out to Fermenti. LLC).

Demonstrations

There will be six demo artists total. They will have 45 minutes to instruct and 15 min for set-up/clean-up after each demonstration. This is an incredible way to promote your craft, booth, book, web-site or social media influence. A quiet separate full kitchen is located on site, and you will have use of a fridge, sink, oven, microwave, recycling bins, trash cans, ice machine. Towels or paper towels will be available.
