Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre Kicks Off Theatre For Young Audiences Program
Join Rick Bagley and Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre for a Listening to the Grass Grow book signing!
The first book signing will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 11am-2pm. This event will take place at Panera Bread at 1843 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville, NC. This event is co-sponsored by Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre and First Citizens Bank. There will be prizes for attendees and donors.
The second book signing will be on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10am-2pm. This event will take place at Camden’s Coffee House at 40 North Main Street, Mars Hill, NC.
Rick Bagley is the son of author Harry C Bagley and will be signing the book, Listening to the Grass Grow. Donations from this autographed book will support SART’s Theatre for Young Audiences Program. Listening to the Grass Grow will be the basis of their first Theatre for Young Audiences production that will tour around WNC this spring.

This production will be showing on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 7:30 PM at Owen Theatre in Mars Hill, NC; on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ellen Amphitheater in Mars Hill, NC; on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Owen Theatre in Mars Hill, NC; on Friday, April 29, 2022 11:00 AM at the Marshall Public Library in Marshall, NC; and on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Marshall Public Library in Marshall, NC.
The Theatre for Young Audiences program is a collaboration with the community and Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre to create opportunities for theatre in WNC for younger audiences.
