The Azure Sky in Oz: The true stories of two women whose lives are forever changed by the neurodiverse. Starring MHU Theatre Arts Graduate and long-time SART company member, Amanda Ladd and showing in rep May 18-28, 2023.
Say Goodnight Gracie: The life, laughter, and love of George Burns and Gracie Allen. Featuring WNC favorite Pasquale LaCorte and showing in rep May 18-28, 2023.
My Way: A musical tribute to Frank Sinatra. Showing June 8-18, 2023.
Church Basement Ladies: A celebration of the church basement kitchen and the women who work there. Featuring the return of their 2020 cast. Showing June 29-July 9, 2023.
Golden Boy of the Blue Ridge: A bluegrass musical coming-of-age story about a slapdash murder, a whirlwind romance, and a most unlikely hero. July 20-30, 2023.
The Winter Gala takes place at Mars Landing Galleries at 37 Library St, Mars Hill, NC 28754. Mars Landing Galleries is a standout gallery for the works of artists and makers nestled in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains and beyond. Each exhibit space is curated to provide viewers ample space for contemplation, connection, and ultimate appreciation of exquisite works not readily displayed locally. It is a must-show location for working artists and makers looking for optimal exposure. Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre is a professional theatre company in residence at the historic Owen Theatre on the campus of Mars Hill University.
