The Madison County Chamber of Commerce is interested in articles that feature best practices and proven solutions to common issues facing Chamber members.
Help us by sharing your insights, approaches, and lessons learned as a result of a challenging situation.
Make your article as practical as possible and include real world examples and “how-to” information. Stick to the basics or what readers need to know to follow in your footsteps. Keep sentences short and simple. Write as you would speak. Use as many details as you can to illustrate and clarify.
The following policies apply to all articles. Content that does not meet these criteria will be rejected from publication on madisoncounty-nc.com.
– Your content should reflect your genuine experience and should not be posted just to manipulate ratings. Don’t submit fake content, don’t submit the same content multiple times, and don’t submit content for the same place under a different name.
– The content you submit may not feature calls to action or offers for the sale of regulated or restricted products or services. This includes, but is not limited to, alcohol, gambling, tobacco, guns, health and medical devices, regulated pharmaceuticals, adult services, and financial services. Incidental depictions of these products are excluded from this policy. Examples include: images of menus; or, images where alcoholic beverages are present but not the main focus.
– We don’t accept content that is illegal or depicts illegal activity.
Examples of unacceptable content include, but are not limited to:
– Reviewing your own business.
– Submitting content about a current or former employment experience.
– Submitting content about a competitor to manipulate their ratings.
You must be a member of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce in order to submit an article.
Articles are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased.
Articles should be no more than 800 words maximum. Typical articles are between 200 – 800 words. Submit your article as a Microsoft Word attachment in an e-mail to manager@madisoncounty-nc.com. Submit any charts, tables, graphics, or photos as separate image files.
Please allow two to four weeks for review of your article. You will be notified via email if your article has been published.
