Toxic Mud!
The mud in Marshall is toxic. Hazardous material protocols are now in effect. Use caution anywhere there is mud or water. An abundance of solvents or caustic chemicals is eating peoples clothes. People are getting chemical burns from the mud. Flood water is incredibly nasty and can be contaminated with household chemicals, fuel oil, gas, animal and human waste, trash (watch out for syringes and nails in debris), garden chemicals, etc.
PPE is now mandated for working in the mud, including respirators. Don’t go in the mud. Use caution and avoid flood water and mud unless absolutely vital.
