North Carolina Emergency Management and Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs) have set up a donations warehouse where eligible community organizations can request or donate items.

Organizations interested in receiving assistance will need to be vetted through NC VOAD to become eligible to receive donated goods. To start the process, interested organizations should complete the short application form at forms.office.com/r/bV277WCZxS. All items received will be inventoried, organized, and stored at the facility, and made available to eligible organizations working to support those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Inventory at the MAW changes daily as donations are received. Individuals or organizations interested in donating items should call 336-810-0661, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or via email to warehouseoffice@ncvoad.org.

The warehouse cannot accept used clothing, textiles, furniture, prescription medications, perishable food, hazardous materials, weapons, alcohol, or tobacco products.
